Rated flow coefficient of geometric compensation control valve

Abstract

Abstract Aiming at the large design error of the rated flow coefficient of existing control valves, it was difficult to meet the requirements of the equipment system. This study adopts the principle of infinite approximation to the existing flow coefficient calculation equation for geometric shape correction compensation, based on which the rated flow coefficient design method was proposed, and simulation and test verification were carried out. The results show that according to the design method, the rated flow coefficient of the control valve can be accurately designed. The variation rule of the simulated value and the test value under the two kinds of spool inner parts is consistent, and the maximum error is not more than 10%, which meets the requirements of industrial standards. The experiment verifies the accuracy and applicability of the design method.
