Abstract
A general study of the Störmer problem is carried taking into account the combined effect of the dipolar and quadrupolar magnetic terms as well as the gauss coefficients for Earth and Saturn. The resulted trajectories as well as the critical states for various kinds of charged dust grains are studied.
