A kinetic model for sensory response of multicomponent oxide nanomaterials used as sensing elements of gas sensors and vacuum gauges is proposed. It is shown that gas-sensitive properties of nanomaterials depend both on their qualitative and quantitative composition, and morphostructure to determine the presence of a hierarchical pore system therein.
