Abstract
The paper considers the stress-strain state of a cable with parallel-laid conductive cores, taking into account the operating conditions. With the help of the Ansys program, the tribological interaction of parallel laid cable elements is modeled, the contact stresses between the elements are determined. Assessment of the stress-strain state of a cable with parallel-laid conductive cores will make it possible to assess the strength of the cable construction materials. These results can be used for twisted cables in design to improve their reliability.
