Abstract
Abstract
We report in this paper the development of the single
crystal diamond detector as a fast neutron spectroscopy in the EAST
tokamak. The diamond detector is used to detect the fast neutron
directly without any neutron converter during the
deuterium-deuterium fusion experiment, then the neutron energy
spectrum is reconstructed from the recorded continuous scattered
spectrum by using a deconvolution algorithm. The results indicate
the capability of the diamond spectroscopy which can be used
directly to monitor the fast neutron flux and energy spectrum in the
EAST tokamak.
