Abstract
Craniotomy, although vital for treating various intracranial conditions, carries significant risks in the postoperative period. Patients undergoing this surgery require intensive monitoring and comprehensive management to optimize their recovery. Nursing interventions play an essential role in this context and their effectiveness can make a difference in clinical outcomes and patient quality of life. The objective of this work is to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions in improving clinical outcomes and quality of life of critically ill post-craniotomy patients. A systematic review of the literature and relevant clinical studies was performed. Saaty's (AHP) was applied to weight and compare the effectiveness of these interventions. The results indicated that intensive neurological monitoring improves early detection of complications and reduces morbidity. It was concluded that well-structured interventions by nursing professionals are crucial to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life of post-craniotomy patients. The implementation of evidence-based protocols can optimize the effectiveness of these interventions and ensure a faster recovery with fewer complications
