Two linkage groups inCoprinus lagopus

Abstract

Sixty-six independently produced markers have been tested for linkage with theAandBmating-type factors. Six loci linked withAand three linked withBwere found. Maps of the two linkage groups which include the centromeres were constructed.Non-identical alleles at two loci,paba-1 andchol-1, were found and crosses between different mutants were used to map the positions of the mutant sites within each locus.
