Abstract

The upper portion of the β-ray spectrum of thorium C″ has been investigated by measuring the tracks produced in a Wilson chamber. No trace of a “tail“ is found, no tracks ofHρ greater than 10,800 being observed in some 600 to 800 disintegrations. The end-point is placed at 9400Hρ, somewhat higher than the value obtained by other workers.
