Abstract
Objective: To analyze how the type of employment contract affects the lives of Nursing professionals. Method: This is a reflective study, based on the discursive formulation of the Precarious employment relationship of Nursing professionals in the public sector. Results and Discussion: The studies addressed temporary hiring and show that this type of contract weakens the worker and disrupts services, in addition to breaking the bond with the team and the population assisted. Final considerations: Temporary hiring of nursing professionals makes the professional sick and weakens the bond and makes working conditions precarious.
