Abstract

Abstract Dialkylmonofluorophosphites react with PCI3 or PBr3 to yield the title compounds 6 and 7. These reactions take place only in the presence of protic catalysts. As a working hypothesis, it is assumed that phosphorus is quinquevalent in the transition state. The 31P and 11F NMR data are tabulated.
