Abstract
Abstract
ESR measurements on Fe3+ and Cr3+ at interstitial sites in SnO2 show that two of the magnetic main axes form an angle of 0.7° to the crystallographic axes. Additional information as to which kind of sites are occupied is yielded by ENDOR measurements of the Fe57, Cr53 hyperfine inter-action, and of the superhyperfine interaction with neighbouring Sn-ligands. It is, furthermore, shown that hydrogen is present in the immediate surroundings of both 3d-ions at interstitial sites
