This study refines the conceptualization and measurement of spirituality/religion in PLWH using the conceptual framework underlying the Brief Multidimensional Measure of Religiousness/Spirituality, a “gold standard”. A collective of 56 spirituality and religion items were analyzed by using confirmatory factor analysis. Results suggest 8 dimensions of spirituality/religion that are salient in PLWH.
