AbstractThe human brain consists of multiple structures, including the large cerebrum, the smaller cerebellum, and the brain stem. These structures can easily be identified from MR images of the brain (Figure 2.1). The cerebrum is composed of the left and right hemispheres, which are connected through bundles of nerve fibers (the corpus callosum).
